1) The Just For Today Daily Mediation book and the
readings mailed out daily through the JFT mailing list are the property of the
Fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous. The World Board, on behalf of the
fellowship, through the FIPT, protect the integrity of the logos, trademarks
and literature.
2) The Just For Today Mailing List is a private effort by
a member of the fellowship and is in no way approved or sanctioned by NAWS or
any other official service body of Narcotics Anonymous.
3) The JFT list subscription and unsubscription is fully
automated. The actual mailing of the list is done manually daily. The list is
sent around midnight Eastern time for the following days reading. There is a
List Manager on the other end - a real person who works hard to trouble shoot
and answer questions.
4) You can subscribe to the JFT list by going to our
subscription page ( click here ), insert your email address, select subscribe
and then select Go. Next, respond to the confirmation email that will be
forwarded to your registered address shortly after your initial
registration.
5) You can unsubscribe from the JFT list by going to our
main subscription page ( click here
), insert your email address and select
unsubscribe and then select Go. You will then need to respond to the
confirmation email that will be sent to you. Upon confirming the unsubscription
request you will be immediately removed from the mailing list. If you
have trouble unsubscribing please email Sherri at jftlist@yahoo.com
6) The confirmation email sent to you is a unique string
of code specifically for your subscription. You must either click on the link
at the bottom of the confirmation email or copy and paste the complete line of
code into your web browser. Some mail programs do not link the entire code so
you may have to copy and paste the code. If you continue to have confirmation
or registration problems you may then contact the list manager- Sherri at jftlist@yahoo.com - with a complete
description of your problem.
7) There are a few possible reason why multiple copies of
the JFT may arrive in your email box. You may have subscribed more then once
using the same email address or another email address that is directly mailed
to you or through a mail forwarding service you may use. Someone may be
forwarding the email to you. You can go to the subscription page ( click here )
and delete any email account at any time.
8) The JFT reading could be discontinued to your email
box for a variety of reasons. Many mail boxes have a limited amount of mail quota
(size of the mail box). When that has been exceeded, the email bounces back to
the List Manager - Sherri. Another reason may be that you have set an auto responder to reply to people sending
you email. In most of these cases, the List Manager will then delete that email
address from the list. Also, spam (unsolicited email) is often controled
by your mail setting or software on your Internet Service Providers server or
on your computer. If the mail coming from us is considered spam by this
software, it will block it from entering your mail box or move it
to another folder. You will need to correct the seetings to permit this
email to be received.
If you feel you should be getting the mailing but have
not received it for a couple of days, first check to see if the JFT is accidentally going into a bulk mail or spam folder. If necessary, put jftlist@yahoo.com on your "safe" list. If you still aren't receiving the JFT, you may wish to go to the subscription
page ( click here ) and re subscribe to the list.
9) This mailing list is a private list that is controlled
totally by the List Manager. Your email address will be used solely for the
purpose of the JFT mail out and related issues. Your email address shall NEVER
be given to anyone else.
10) Yes you can write to the List Manager but please
keep in mind that this job can be labor intensive at times. In order to
maintain this list email must be prioritized. Every effort will be made to
respond to your email in a timely fashion.
